TalkGraph, in plain answers.

What it is, how it turns speech into a visual knowledge map, how it compares, and the practical stuff: languages, imports, privacy and pricing.

What is TalkGraph?

TalkGraph is a voice-to-knowledge-map app. You talk, and it structures your speech into a live visual map of typed, connected cards (decisions, actions, facts, questions, risks, ideas), and every conversation feeds one growing personal Brain you can ask anything. The line we lead with is: say it out loud, understand it forever.

How is TalkGraph different from Otter, Fireflies and other AI notetakers?

Notetakers hand you a transcript or a summary, a wall of text nobody rereads. TalkGraph gives you a structured, editable visual map instead, with decisions, owned actions and open questions pulled out as cards, and that knowledge compounds across conversations in your Brain rather than sitting in disposable per-meeting notes.

How is it different from Notion, Obsidian or a mind-map tool?

Those are structured, but you type and arrange everything by hand. TalkGraph builds the structure automatically from your speech in real time, so you get a mind map at the speed of talking, and separate maps connect into one cross-conversation Brain instead of staying isolated.

Can it turn a meeting into a mind map automatically?

Yes. As people speak, TalkGraph draws the conversation as a connected map, attributes each point to who said it, assigns owners to actions, and on finish produces a summary, the decisions, the actions and a ready-to-send follow-up email.

Does a bot join my call?

No. Capture runs from your own browser using your microphone, or a call tab's audio mixed in. Nobody sees a notetaker bot join the meeting.

Does it work for studying and lectures?

Yes. A lecture or study session becomes a structured map, and TalkGraph adds retrieval practice (a workout mode that quizzes you on your own ideas and resurfaces ones you have not revisited), which is grounded in how memory actually works.

Can I use it just for thinking out loud on my own?

Yes, that is a core use. Ramble through an idea, a plan or a problem and watch it become a map you can navigate, develop and come back to. Solo thinking is exactly what the product is built for, not only meetings.

Can I import existing recordings, transcripts or documents?

Yes. Import audio recordings (M4A, MP3, WAV and more, transcribed with speaker separation), plus PDF, TXT, DOCX, Markdown and VTT transcripts, or paste any text, and TalkGraph maps it retroactively.

What languages does it support?

Over 50 languages for live capture, with real-time speaker separation, powered by Deepgram Nova-3.

What are agents in TalkGraph?

Agents are AI that works from everything you have mapped. Prep a brief for any meeting, pitch or exam from your own recorded thinking, draft deliverables like plans and outreach, or chase the open questions your maps left unresolved. Each run produces an artifact kept on its graph.

Is my data private? Do you train models on it?

Your maps are private by default, encrypted in transit and at rest, and the AI providers we use do not train on API traffic. Share links rotate and can be killed, and you can export or delete everything at any time. The full detail is on our security and privacy pages.

What is a node?

A node is one card on your map, a single idea, decision, fact, action or question the AI draws as you talk. Plans are measured in nodes: you spend them only when new cards are created, and asking your brain, workouts and revisiting are always free.

How much does TalkGraph cost? Is there a free plan?

Free is 250 nodes a month with no credit card. Pro is £9.99 a month for 1,000 nodes, and Max is £29.99 a month for 5,000 nodes, with top-ups available. Every feature is on every plan; plans only change how much you can map.
